Are you a speaker or one who travels often?  If you are someone who people hire to come and provide services where travel is involved, make sure you take the time to sign up for reward programs.

Check this out!  When a company pays for you to come to them, they normally take care of your travel and hotel room.  If you have a rewards account with the hotel or airline, you can rack up on the points on your account.  When you are ready to take a family vacation or just take a getaway, you might have accumulated enough points to get a free stay or upgrade.  A friend of mine was traveling and the hotel that the company placed him in was a lower rated hotel than what he expected to get.  He had accumulated so many points on his reward card with a major hotel chain, that he gave them a call and they had their courtesy van to come and pick him up and placed him in a suite.  He didn’t have to pay for anything because he had accumulated so many points with their rewards program.

We’ve been traveling a little more with our children and I’ve even set them up with reward cards!  Yes, even the kids can have accounts.  When traveling, we can combine our points as well so it works out great!  Don’t assume that you won’t accumulate many points because you don’t travel often.  Some reward programs also offer free breakfast for just being a member of their program.  For a family of four, this is wonderful!!!  It was really nice being on vacation and having the opportunity to wake up every morning and going down for a nice full breakfast before starting our long day of site seeing.

So take the time today to sign up for every reward program there is out there!  It’s out there for you….take advantage of it!
